![]() Today, he brings much joy to his family and his co-workers and, as our Chief Happiness Officer, he decided that he wants to help bring some joy to other animals who have experienced pain and suffering like he did. When he was fit enough to start looking for his forever home, he caught the eye of our founder Sandra, who adopted him. A Lajka volunteer accepted him into her home and started a long process of rehabilitation, both physical and psychological. Because he was in such bad shape, they asked for additional help from Lajka, an animal welfare organisation in Slovenia. He was lucky enough to be picked up by members of a local animal shelter, who immediately took him to a vet and paid for his urgently needed medical treatment. He couldn’t walk or eat and wouldn’t last more than another day or two if some amazing people hadn’t found him. ![]() When found, he had multiple bone fractures on his leg and pelvis from either being hit by a car or badly beaten. Maybe you’ve noticed on some of our Instagram stories that we have a furry, four-legged co-worker named Bailey, who is our Chief Happiness Officer.īailey was found as a few month old puppy, abandoned in a forest somewhere, together with his brothers and sisters.
